Lecture Notes

Please note - i've now re-enabled the links as "school's out" for 2006, Due to my busy schedule, I wasn't able to give more than 2 of my lectures, so the notes are pretty well the same.

Lecture notes - Week 1 - Introduction to Location Sound Recording. (.PDF right-click - save as)

Lecture notes - Week 2 - Microphones and their use on-set. (.PDF right-click - save as) - UPDATED with screen-caps of MATRIX RELOADED DVDs - I didn't work on it, but there are some good shots of the boomies who did! - Obviously copyrights are retained by the legal owners.

Lecture notes - Week 3 - Equipment Maintenace and Repair. (.PDF right click -save as) - also includes screen-caps from MATRIX REVOLUTIONS DVD's

Lecture notes - Week 4 - Setting the Location for Sound. (.PDF right click -save as) - Technically it's not my lecture, as I was unable to attend, due to work - but here are the notes I gave to the kind soul who replaced me.

Lecture notes - Week 5 - High level techniques and equipment (.PDF right click -save as) - not a note-heavy one. Was more of an excuse to pull-out the uber-trolley at the school, and wax-lyrical about how a scene on a feature film is miked.
