All my friends have left Brisbane...

What can I say.

The film has finished and I'm feeling empty.

For 18 days we slogged our guts out, capturing an amazing story; way beyond the budgetary constraints of independent feature films.

Many thanks to all those whom I worked alongside.

Extra special thanks go out to Marianne, Tess, Tim and Scott; who assisted me on various days throughout the shoot.

Without a doubt; the single best experience I've had on a film-set... ever!

All my friends AUDIO KIT.

RECORDERS Main - Sony TCD D10 DAT recorder (non timecode)

Simultaneous Backup - Creative Nomad JUKEBOX 3 (20 Gb version)

MIXER Sound devices 302 field Mixer.
MICROPHONES Schoeps MK-41 hyper cardioid

Sennheiser MKH 70 shotgun

RADIO MICS Sony diversity with DPA 4060 lavallieres
MIC SUPPORT PANAMIC super-maxi Pole (5.5m) and a small aluminium pole for fore-arm booming

I'm literally unable to say anything else about this production at the moment, words have completely escaped me. It's kind of depressing to think that I won't be working on this anymore. I miss you all already.

Better cut to some photos before I get all weepy.

A little somethin' somethin' from our D.P.

actors = movable props

taken way too seriously...

car rigs are fun

yeah we shot at the R.E. (and it was freakin' noisy)

It's a boom... in the sky... but no diamonds.

Lunchbreak

Just another fun day in the park

remote-head crane-moves are my anti-drug.

had to get a shot of the stills photographer...

I think the script had something to do with cloning... or shirtless umbrella holders, or wine, or something...

intense blocking

just chillin' with the stunt driver - LOVE the umbrella...

what a view

sunset on the 2nd last day

I'm still impressed with this shot, even though we filmed it weeks ago.

all smiles. inter-departmental happiness

My kit; it's not the prettiest - but it works.

team grips doin' what they do best... Grippin.
